Industrial Screen Printing
Screen printing provides a number of benefits in the production of durable industrial print solutions.

• Excellent colour management with specifically mixed “spot colour” inks matching PMS colours exactly. The range of colours that can be printed is unlimited.
• Solvent based inks that etch to the substrates being printed. This eliminates de-lamination risks in harsh environments.
• Resistant to abrasion, outdoor environments, UV light and chemicals.
• Wide range of substrate and adhesive options including UV stable, textured, optically clear, selective adhesive and low surface energy environments.

Subsurface Digital Printing
Digital print technologies have re-defined the features and options available for graphic facias, decals, overlays and membrane switch solutions. There are tangible cost savings with an increase in features that can be incorporated into products.

• Unlimited number of colours with features such as vignettes and fades that are not possible to create screen printing.
• Complete customisation of the artwork process allows for multiple designs to be printed simultaneously. This provides high levels of customisation for clients parts with no increase in costs.
• The ability to easily add variable data allows serial numbers, barcodes, QR codes to be incorporated seamlessly into the product.
• Through significant R&D Sun Industries has developed proprietary processes that ensure fail safe bonding of the inks to substrates. This overcomes durability challenges digital processes have experience in digital print previously.

Anodised and Dyed Sealed Aluminium
Encapsulation of the printed dye into anodised aluminium creates an exceptionally durable metal nameplate. Anodised nameplates are resistant to abrasion, chemicals and solvents as the ink is literally “sealed” inside the anodic pores of the aluminium.

• Nameplates can be shaped, embossed, router cut and laminated with adhesive.
• Laser etching of variable data.
• Rounded corners for safety.
• Pre-punched holes for quick installation.
• Range of industrial adhesives on rear for secure mounting.

Litho Printed and Stoved Metal Plates 
Sun Industries is the only company in Australia supplying this specialised nameplate process. Significantly more affordable than anodised aluminium, and able to print onto any metal (stainless steel, brass, copper etc), litho printed nameplates offer high levels of durability at a very economical price point.

• Stoving of the print “enamels” the ink to the metal.
• Provides and economical solution to all but the harshest applications.
• Range of specialised metals in various gauges available.
